Rime Time Curiously Crafted Pops is a Columbus ice pop company specializing in unique, one-of-a-kind popsicles that utilize fresh and seasonal ingredients. One of our primary objectives is to create a popsicle flavor that is special, collaborative, nostalgic, fresh and unlike any popsicle a customer has had before. Our pops retail out of our small ice cream/ice pop carts and soon to be popsicle truck! This will be Rime Time Pop’s third summer at the Hilliard Center Street Market and we are looking for someone to help us continue grow our roots and build our community! Along with the primary responsibilities, this attendant will have the pleasure of working amongst the other established Columbus food businesses inside the Center Street Market. We promote individuality and creativity! This individual/individuals will become a face of the market stand as our guests and customers love building relationships with our attendants.
Characteristics we are looking for in this position are someone who is cheerful and outgoing and can work well with adults and children. Our customer base ranges from young kids to parents and it’s important that no matter age, a person is treated kindly. As this is our third summer in Hilliard we are looking for someone that will take ownership of the cart and learn and help devise what is best for us to succeed in this community. Your ideas for improvements and constructive criticism is beneficial! Individuality, flexibility and responsibility is crucial as this attendant will most likely be working alone and changes may come often as we learn our systems and management of this new space.
With that said, we promise to teach and grow and make this an incredible learning experience for an individual interested in owning a small business or an individual who enjoys working in retail with customers or kids. This position burdens some responsibility but we believe that it will be equally educating as it is financially rewarding. Make some good money, gain some great experience and learn a lot through helping us establish a presence and connection with the community.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
An ice pop cart attendant’s responsibility will consist of serving Rime Time Pops from an ice cream cart located inside of the Hilliard Center Street Market. Daily responsibilities will include:
· Greeting and helping customers that approach the ice pop cart.
· Ensuring that customers are appreciated and taken care of.
· Recording and reporting daily ice pop inventory.
· Help promote our company culture of kindness and customer satisfaction.
· Representing our brand and mission to new customer’s that have never been to Rime Time Pops before.
· Moving/rolling the cart indoors and outsides daily, depending on the weather at the Center Street Market.

· Highly interpersonal, ability to communicate well with both adults and children

· Versatile and flexible individual to help us adapt to the new space and it’s changes

· Works well alone
· Cheerful and smiling personality
Hours: Monday – Sunday 11:00 am – 9:00 pm
Pay: $10/hr. with tips. Additional benefits and event hours will be discussed.
